Halloween Part I

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I'm not into all the scary stuff, but I love to see the kids in costume. They are so cute and some can be so creative. As a child, we never ordered a costume or went to the store to buy one, we always "put something together" or bought fabric to make something. That is my idea of a good Halloween costume. Here are my adorable children and husband showing what we came up with.
DAYSON: all he can remember about Halloween is pumpkins, ghosts, and saying boo!
He chose to be a pumpkin because it is what he could remember.

Isn't he the cutest pumpkin head you have ever seen? ( Yes those are burlap pants i made, does anybody want some?)
CONWAY: he had no preference and I thought SPARKY would be cute, although it didn't turn out like I wanted. He does have a pitchfork and tail. Still cute though right?

Like I said all Dayson could remember is pumpkins and ghosts, so he wanted James to be a ghost. I happened to have an old white sheet that was ripped. James is such a good sport. I think he likes the holiday as much as me and the kids!

The pumpkin head turned out awesome. So how did you end up making it fit his head? Oh and I definitely want a pair of those pants:)
