Conway's surgery went well. Kids bounce back so easily. It was hernia surgery along with a few other things for those of you who were wondering. He was crawling around in no time. Then last night he got cozy with me for a couple hours (so uncharacteristic of him). It was very nice to cuddle my baby. He slept all night and is pretty much himself today. He doesn't even need pain medication. His "new things" lately are saying mama and when i get him out of bed he is standing there waiting for me. He's almost 7 months now. When he woke up from surgery he was sobbing "mama". It about broke my heart.
James has decided to toss the crutches and take off the cast! (It is removable) The rubber stopper on the end of the crutches broke and he has slipped several times. He is so sick of them and thinks his foot is fine. Monday he will find out if he is right or he needs surgery. I cant tell you how many times he has cried out in pain since this decision. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

usually the doctors order's are the right decision!! he needs to put his cast back on or he is going to hurt it worse!! you know how boys are, especially sherwood boys!
I'm glad Conway is back to his old self and so fast! Hope James gets better soon too.
Oh I'm glad Conway is feeling better. The first couple hours after they wake up are the worst. Good to know that Nick isn't the only one who thinks he can be his won doctor:)
I am so glad that the surgery went well for Conway. I can totally sympathize with you on how when our children are in pain like that it just brakes your heart. Then when they are teens and do things it is that way all over again.Oh motherhood!
Men are funny aren't they?
Hang in there prayers being said for your family. Hugs, Bobbi Jo
