I don't have your email other wise I would have sent you an email.
As far as painting and distressing. Make sure you are using the right paint for the piece you are painting. You can use one color lighter or darker than the other. Then after the paint has dried a day or two then add the other let dry again a day or two then use sandpaper or a sandpaper block(this will save your finger tips) ask me how I know! he he
I do mostly smaller objects so they don't take a long time to dry especially here in Arizona.
Are you planning on doing canning of your veggies?

That's looks so great! Did you use fabric or paper? I'm sure if I had clicked on the link I would know, but I didn't, so, sorry. As a side note: I am wildly jealous of your friend bobbi jo's glittering crown icon!
